Due to the recent ‘high COVID-19 transmission rates,’ the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are highly encouraging already vaccinated citizens to continue wearing their masks while indoors. Not only this, but the CDC has released numerous statements recommending almost all people to continue wearing their masks while vocalizing that young children are most likely going to be bringing their masks to school with them this fall. Newly found studies are showing that people who have received both of the COVID-19 vaccinations are still not 100% healthy or ready for ‘normal’ confrontations with other people; it is still unclear what measures will be taken to prevent the diseases from spreading any further.
The CDC Director Rochelle Walensky previously released a statement on this matter which gave a more in-depth explanation of why the number of carriers is still continuing to rise; “This pandemic continues to pose a serious threat to the health of all Americans…today, we have a new science related to the delta variant that requires us to update the guidance regarding what you can do when you are fully vaccinated.” This statement contradicts almost everything the CDC has been telling us since last May they came out saying, “fully vaccinated people do not have to wear a mask in most settings, indoors and outdoors.” Rochelle and her team are looking to produce a full-blown explanation and run-down of how they are planning to reduce the number of COVID-19 cases throughout the United States. We can expect this announcement to be publicly released before the summer concludes.
Developed from the COVID-19 virus, the delta variant is currently on the path of creating yet another rise in new coronavirus cases and is said to have the power of enabling another country-wide pandemic, if not handled correctly. The delta variant is “uniquely different from past strains of the virus” making it more difficult to contain since studies have found that people who withhold this specific strain are highly likely to infect people with or without the vaccination. States who have excluded the ‘wear your mask’ rule will soon be reinstated with the rule as officials will clearly do anything in their power to prevent businesses and innocent people from dying, including locking down the country.
