Popular Los Angeles rapper, Blueface has mostly been known for his social media antics and his hit verse on the DDG’s single, “Moonwalking in Calabasas” (feat. Blueface). However, the new generation rapper has been looking to make a change in pace as he has his eyes set on the upcoming boxing match between himself and 21-year-old Tik Tok star, Kane Trujillo. While the height difference between these opponents is very one-sided, they both are in the same weight class totaling 165 pounds for each fighter. With all of the preparation, Blueface has been enduring while going into this fight it’s easy to see why he has recently been calling out New York rapper 6ix9ine to set up their very own boxing match.
Blueface initiated this rivalry after uploading a picture to his Instagram feed of 6ix9ine’s ex-girlfriend with a busted lip after the rainbow rapper had repeatedly struck her in the face. Blueface added a clearly targeted caption towards 6ix9ine stating, “he’ll beat a female up but won’t even mention a fight with me, now that’s b***h n***a problems,” and proceeded to tag what could be his future ring opponent. 6ix9ine left a short comment under the post saying, “Shotti did this to her;” 6ix9ine’s former manager and member of Tr3yway who was sentenced to 15 years in prison in exchange for an earlier release date.
Not taking lightly to his response, Blueface would again clap back with another Instagram post except this time, it was a short clip of an old Shaderoom interview where the rapper verbally explained the physical altercation that went down between him and his ex-girlfriend. 6ix9ine previously stated in the interview, “I blacked out… as you hear during the trial, I beat the s**t out of Sara and God forgive me, the whole time I was hitting her I’m like, ‘yo Sara you violated.’” It was not long before Blueface took down the video after not publicly receiving any feedback from his targeted adversary. At the end of the day, we would all love to see a real 6ix9ine vs Blueface match and we can only hope that the two rappers officially end up in a ring together; all we are waiting for is the Brooklyn rapper to seriously consider the offer.
