It is no secret that Billie Eilish is currently sitting on an upcoming collaboration with Air Jordan, building up anticipation to drop the newest version of her fully customized Air Jordan 1 KOs and Air Jordan 15s. The artist gave a sneak peek of the collection that showed a “vegan” version of the Air Jordan 1 KOs that consisted of an all “Ghost Green” colorway, which was the singer’s former choice of hair color. “This color is such a classic, stupid, little ‘old me’ thing, I guess,” she stated when asked about her decision. “I really wanted to have almost a kind of ode to myself, in an appreciative way, in a kind of sentimental way.” Billie also made sure that this specific shoe was made from at least 20% of recyclable materials as a true pledge to her high environmental standards.

The second half of her collection includes an unspecified version of the Air Jordan 15s as an authentic photo has yet to be released. However, Billie considers this individual shoe to be her favorite of all time giving some hope to its unknown aesthetic. “I love the 15s more than any other shoe in the world… people f***ing hate that shoe and it’s my favorite… I love things that people hate,” she stated. A mock photo of the shoe has been leaked that shows a smooth yet bulky outer layer that is completely covered in a tan colorway, but nothing is for certain.

The highly anticipated Air Jordan and Billie Eilish collaborative collection is officially set to be exclusively released onto her website on Monday, September 27, 2021, before being launched onto other platforms. The sneakers were originally supposed to drop on Thursday, September 9, but were unexpectedly pushed back for what are still private reasons. As of right now, the Air Jordan 1 KOs will be priced at $460.00 and the Air Jordan 15s will sit beside them for a total of $588.00; even with the high possibility of the prices changing, there is no question that these shoes will absolutely fly off the shelves.
