Most people are familiar with the Big Baller Brand, founded by Lavar Ball who is the father of current NBA athletes Lonzo, LiAngelo, and LaMelo Ball. Big Baller Brand was founded back in April 2016, before the release of Lonzo Ball’s first-ever signature shoe, the ZO2, in 2017; the oldest ball brother was previously drafted into the league by the Los Angeles Lakers as the No. 2 overall pick in the first round of the NBA draft. Since then, the brand has created quite the name for itself by releasing multiple pieces of clothing apparel and footwear, such as their latest ‘luxury lifestyle’ sneaker release that was made public earlier this week.

This specific shoe officially hit the market on the same exact day that LaMelo’s first-ever Puma collaboration sneaker was revealed; the youngest Ball brother chose to follow in the footsteps of Lonzo as they both came to the conclusion not to sign a deal with their father’s well-known brand. The newest edition to the Big Baller Brand’s footwear lineup comes in the buyer’s choice of four individual colorways that consist of the following options: the denim-styled “MIRAGE” version, a red “SCORCHIN” colorway, a plain white “BBB” version, and an exclusive “I TOLD YOU SO” version that includes the specific phrase “I told you so” written on the outside of the shoe.

The “I TOLD YOU SO” style has somewhat of an increased price due to its unique versatility and exclusive design. This specific colorway of Big Baller Brand’s luxury lifestyle shoe is currently priced at $895.00 USD. The other three design types will all be for sale at a lower, more reasonable cost of $695.00 USD and sold throughout the world. Lavar Ball officially announced the release of the shoes this past Tuesday, October 12 in a video uploaded to his Instagram account. “I am a role model,” the 53-year-old entrepreneur stated. “Triple B’s, Big Baller Brand is in the building… Independency and ownership is everything. Check out the new lifestyle shoes, get your shoe game up.”
