Nicki Minaj) and I Don’t Text Back (feat. Yeat).

Rapper 21 Savage Misses Rolling Loud Set, Refuses To Return https://brevmag.com/rapper-21-savage-misses-rolling-loud-set-refuses-to-return/ https://brevmag.com/rapper-21-savage-misses-rolling-loud-set-refuses-to-return/#respond Wed, 28 Sep 2022 19:35:00 +0000 https://brevmag.com/?p=16757 The 2022 international hip-hop music festival, Rolling Loud, officially commenced this past weekend in the heart of Queens, New York. The large gathering of rap/hip-hop fans took place over the course of three days – Friday, September 23, 2022 to Sunday, September 25, bringing out various multi-platinum selling artists and all-time performers such as A$AP Rocky, Busta Rhymes, Nicki Minaj, Lil Uzi Vert, Future, Playboi Carti, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, BIA, Lil Baby, and so many more.

However, one of the most anticipated performances was unexpectedly trimmed from the organization’s line-up due to the artist arriving late for his set. With specifics of the situation still being uncovered, Ghostface Killers rapper, 21 Savage, was initially set to take the stage on the final day of the concert until seemingly running into problems due to his tardiness. “Rolling Loud will never get a show out of me ever again,” the Atlanta-born artist posted to his Twitter account shortly after missing his scheduled performance slot.

A similar situation occurred with Praise The Lord rapper A$AP Rocky after having his set cut short just a day prior to 21 Savage’s affair. Rocky went on to issue an official apology to his fans and the Rolling Loud organization via his Twitter feed: “I am so hurt right now! Last night was supposed to be a turning point in my live shows from the old to new,” A$AP stated. “I will take full responsibility for the circumstances of what led to last night’s show being everything it was and everything it was not… I want to apologize to all my fans and continued supporters, and thanks y’all for showing up for me regardless!.”

“Baby On Baby 2” Marks DaBaby’s Second Full Project Of 2022 https://brevmag.com/baby-on-baby-2-marks-dababys-second-full-project-of-2022/ https://brevmag.com/baby-on-baby-2-marks-dababys-second-full-project-of-2022/#respond Sun, 25 Sep 2022 00:26:00 +0000 https://brevmag.com/?p=16541 2022 Grammy Award nominee artist Jonathan Lyndale Kirk, more professionally known as DaBaby, has returned to the spotlight with the release of his newest studio album Baby On Baby 2. The long-awaited body of work was dropped onto all streaming platforms this past Friday, September 23, 2022, marking the rapper’s second full project of the year; DaBaby publicized BETTER THAN YOU back in early March – an exclusive collaborative album that consisted of 12 songs with multi-platinum selling artist YoungBoy Never Broke Again.

Fans have been waiting for this specific album for over three years ever since the release of his platinum-selling debut project, Baby On Baby (2019), withholding only a total of four singles with featured verses being Baby Sitter (feat, Offset), Celebrate (feat. Rich Homie Quan), Joggers (feat. Stunna 4 Vegas), and Best Friend (feat. Rich The Kid).

Keeping his business completely solo, with the one exception of Anthony Hamilton on BLANK, the Charlotte, North Carolina rapper successfully delivered an energetic 14-track studio album with a clear message to the rest of the music industry. Currently, his listeners are attracting loads of attention to specific lines that the 30-year-old artist implemented in his third song, BOOGEYMAN

“You play with me that s**t was childish/ The day before she said that Torey Lanez shot her, I was f*****g on Megan Thee Stallion,” DaBaby states in his first verse. “Waited to say that s**t on my next album/ Hit it the day before too/ But I kept it player, I ain’t say nothing ‘bout it… Had her pretty boy, boyfriend tweeting me, ready to die ‘bout the bitch like a coward.” He concluded the touchy subject, “I told you n****s don’t play, now you gone have to handle me/ I poked the muthaf*****g bear, I’m an animal.”

Post Malone Finishes Performance After Bruising 3 Ribs During Show https://brevmag.com/post-malone-finishes-performance-after-bruising-3-ribs-during-show/ https://brevmag.com/post-malone-finishes-performance-after-bruising-3-ribs-during-show/#respond Sun, 18 Sep 2022 19:42:00 +0000 https://brevmag.com/?p=16763 Well-known artist Post Malone recently suffered a brutal fall during his concert performance in St. Louis, Missouri. Taking place this past Sunday, September 18, 2022, the 27-year-old rapper was in the middle of singing his popular solo track Circles when unexpectedly fell into an uncovered hole in the floor. Representatives of the Enterprise Center confirmed that the hole in the floor was opened to descend his instruments underneath the stage; the artist simply did not realize the space was still open.

“Thank you, everyone, for all your well wishes,” Malone’s manager Dre London posted on his Instagram account. “Post Malone did not break any ribs. We did X-rays at the hospital after the show and they declared he had bruised ribs.” London reportedly released this statement to clear up previous rumors of the rapper allegedly breaking three of his ribs – Malone finished his performance after the unfortunate fall.

One fan even stated to the press, “At the time from my angle, it looked like he just collapsed on stage, grabbing the middle of his chest,” concertgoer Tana Cantrall claimed. “You could see in his face and body how much pain he was in and that’s when I knew this was serious… After about ten minutes, Post Malone got up with help from others and went to take a break. Once he returned to the stage he repeatedly apologized before finishing the show.”
