Angela Yee Departs From “The Breakfast Club” After 12-Year Career

One-third of the popular New York City, New York-based American radio show The Breakfast Club, Angela Yee, has officially gone her separate ways with the platform. Angela previously hosted her final live broadcast alongside her usual companions, DJ Envy and Charlamagne tha God, this past Friday, December 2, 2022, where the entire production staff gave her an honorable send-off, after a joyful and triumphant 12-year career.

“We have all made history together as a radio show,” Charlamagne tha God stated to his longtime radio partner. “Job well done. They can never take away what we built.” DJ Envy also intervened to give Angela her flowers by simply saying, “I am proud of you… I am gonna miss my sister.”

As far as the future holds for the iconic radio show host, the New York-born personality looks to venture off into her own lane by commencing the live broadcast of her upcoming radio show, Way Up With Angela Yee. The newly announced radio broadcast is presently planned to stream during the weekdays at times, dates, and radio stations that have yet to be determined by its founder. The Breakfast Club can always be listened to on any weekday from 5:30 AM to 10:00 AM ET and Saturdays from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM ET on WWPR-FM Power 105.1 — the radio station is currently available in “over 90 radio markets around the United States including Atlanta, Chicago, Miami, Philadelphia,” and many more, according to previously recorded documentation.
