During an episode of Kevin Garnett’s Showtime series KG Certified, Paul Pierce, appearing to be intoxicated, introduced his former teammate to a woman whom he claimed he had hired to be his girlfriend for the day.
“This is my girlfriend for the day, they got a website where you can hire girlfriends for the day, so I got a girlfriend for the day,” Pierce told Garnett after he introduced him to the woman, who was sitting just offscreen.
During the streaming of the show, which coincided with Game 3 of the Miami Heat vs. Denver Nuggets, Kevin Garnett tried to steer the conversation back to the basketball game as Paul Pierce’s behavior became more unconventional.
