The Unified Police Department of Greater Salt Lake released footage of February arrest that took place in a McDonald’s parking lot. Police body cam footage shows a 4-year-old unleashing rounds at fellow officers as the the young boy’s father was being arrested. Police say the shooter was sitting in the back seat of his father’s car with a 3-year-old sibling. The police report says the child told officers, ”I grabbed my dad’s gun and tried to shoot the police so he could be free and do what he wanted.” The child was arrested and taken into custody.
