Long-time chairman and chief executive officer of WWE Vince Kennedy McMahon recently stepped down from his official position due to recent allegations of misconduct against him. In early June of this year, Vince officially relieved himself of all duties related to the WWE after a former employee vocalized how he paid her a ‘secret settlement’ in order to keep their sexual affair quiet. Since this information was brought to light, multiple women (4) have come out to accuse the 76-year-old man of running the same game on them after the action of sexual misconduct — Over the past 16 years, $12 million was the grand total in payoffs after police officials spoke to all four women.
Mr. McMahon previously appeared on an episode of WWE SmackDown to give the WWE universe a face-to-face explanation and retirement speech after a long career of running World Wrestling Entertainment: “I have pledged my complete cooperation to the investigation by the Special Committee, and I will do everything possible to support the investigation. I have also pledged to accept the findings and outcome of the investigation, whatever they are… I am simply here to remind you of the four words we just saw [WWE signature]. Those four words are ‘the, now, forever,’ and the most important word is ‘together.’ Welcome to SmackDown.”
