The President also made a claim of his own that declared how the price of gas has a slight possibility of decreasing “anywhere from 10 cents to 35 cents a gallon” from their current price, according to Biden himself.

The 79-year-old Democratic Party spokesperson continued to elaborate on the subject with a short statement to the citizens of his country: “Our prices are rising because of [Russian President Vladimir] Putin’s actions. There is not enough supply… And the bottom line is if we want to lower gas prices we need to have more oil supply right now.” Biden is professing how the main cause for the increase in gas prices throughout the United States is due to Putin’s previous attacks on Ukraine.

As the exact timeline of when Biden’s new plan will commence and show a noticeable difference is still to be determined, highly trusted officials have estimated that prices could stay down as long as from now until the conclusion of the summer, assuming that this specific method of action gets passed. According to AAA, the average increase of gas prices within the United States has gone up a total of $2.85 from precisely one year ago (2021).
