Donda Is Now Certified Platinum

Kanye West’s most previously released project, Donda, has officially been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. Announced to the public this past Saturday, March 12, 2022, the widely listened to the album had already accumulated an approximate total of 33.4 million streams over the entirety of its 27 songs. 

The popular body of work embodies various features verses from a plethora of multi-platinum selling artists such as Marilyn Manson, Chris Brown, DaBaby, Jay-Z, The Weeknd, Roddy Ricch, Young Thug, Lil Durk, Playboi Carti, Fivio Foreign, Vory, and so many more. Kanye initially released the highly anticipated project back on August 29, 2021, before eventually claiming the No.1 spot on the Billboard Top 200 chart. Donda previously sold over 309,000 album-equivalent units within just the first week of its publication. 

Yeezy is already working on the official release of the second coming of his album, Donda 2. The 44-year-old artist has announced multiple features that will be included in his new project that includes XXXTentacion, Baby Keem, Migos, Travis Scott, Playboi Carti, Drake, Future, and many more. The upcoming release date for this specific body of work has yet to be announced to the public.
