As of Thursday, March 10, 2022, The Nick Cannon Show was officially canceled after airing for just one season. The talk show was initially seen on Fox back at the beginning of September 2021 and ever since has not seemed to gain enough traction to continue. The 41-year-old television personality, Nick Cannon, gave his own thoughts on the recent announcement of his time-consuming show.

“What this has shown me over the last six months, together, you guys have really become family,” Cannon claimed. “This is the best working crew, best I’ve ever dealt with. I’ve gotta say thank you… we laughed together, we cried together, we prayed together. And like I always say, ‘I’m here to do what I can and let God do what I can’t.’” The comedian then went on to conclude his statement with, “I’m still gonna be here, I’m still gonna do this… I ain’t going nowhere, but it’s about broadening my audience and really tapping into my audience in a big way.”

Cannon also specifically spoke on how the program currently has a plethora of pre-recorded episodes, meaning that they will continue to air the show until they inevitably run out in mid-May of this year. “This ain’t over, we still got more shows,” he publicly announced. “This is not the last show… I’m excited to be part of a business where I get to try so many things. It’s truly been a blessing and this has been a dream come true thank you all for allowing me to have my dreams and come into your home.”
