The FBI just arrested a viral media influencer after matching his footwear to multiple robberies that previously took place in his area. Michigan-born TikTok star, Chozen Terrell-Hannah has been seen various times throughout the social media community sharing his contagious energy through dances, usually wearing the same pair of white Nike sneakers with red spots around the body. The 22-year-old man is reportedly said to be the criminal behind “four individual robberies from December 2021 to February 2022,” according to Fox 2 Detroit.
Going by “ChozenWrld” on all of his social media accounts, the former influencer currently holds approximately 149,000 followers and 1.6 million likes on his TikTok account. Terrell-Hannah was picked up by the authorities earlier this week and is now waiting for an official hearing in Detroit’s federal courtroom. FBI officials managed to put two-and-two together after comparing the video footage from the crime scenes, showing a man wearing a hooded sweatshirt, a mask, and white shoes, to all of the young man’s videos that embodied the same exact pair of sneakers.
Authorities also claim that Terrell-Hannah’s cellphone data showed the criminal previously being located in the same positions as to where the crimes took place, at the same time: The FBI retrieved this specific information after picking up the video creator and acquiring the correct warrant. The Michigan native is now looking at charges that include possession of a firearm during a violent crime, affecting interstate commerce, and many more.
