It has officially been two years since the unexpected passing of Chicago-born Juice WRLD that took place back in December 2019. Since then, his team has released a total of two full-length projects after the initial drop of his newest project Fighting Demons. The 18-track body of work was released onto all platforms this past Friday, December 10, 2021, containing a handful of features from various multi-platinum selling artists including Justin Bieber, Trippie Redd, Polo G and even SUGA from BTS.

This project comes shortly over a year after the publication of his first posthumous album, Legends Never Die, which was released in July 2020. The popular project would soon be recognized as platinum by the RIAA almost directly after selling approximately one million album-equivalent units within the first month of its initial release; The Kid LAROI, Halsey, Marshmello, the Weeknd and many more made short appearances on the admired body of work. Juice WRLD’s manager Lil Bibby has transparently made it a priority to continue the release of his deceased artists songs, including the implementation of select features onto a variety of other rappers projects being Matt Hardy 999 (feat. Juice WRLD) off of Trippie Redd’s newest album Trip At Knight.

You would think that Fighting Demons is one of the last releases that the artists team is planning on dropping. However, they recently released a statement on behalf of this specific publication that shed more light on the future of the young rapper’s posthumous music. “There was nothing Jarad ‘Juice WRLD’ Higgins enjoyed more than delivering new music to his millions of fans around the world,” the statement read. “He left behind an astonishingly deep catalog of music that will ensure his fans will have new songs to listen to for years to come. Jarad was always searingly honest about his struggles and through his musical genius he articulated what was on his heart and mind vividly through his art.”
