American model and singer Alyssa Scott was previously carrying well-known comedian and entrepreneur Nick Cannon’s seventh child throughout the majority of this past year. Alyssa gave birth to their newborn son Zen S. Cannon on June 23, 2021, giving Nick the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to raise the fourth son, while Scott simultaneously received her second child and first-born son. Unfortunately, as these types of situations can almost never be controlled, Zen passed away this past Wednesday, December 8 at only five months old. Nick’s youngest son was diagnosed with a severe brain tumor approximately two months ago, hydrocephalus to be exact, that was reportedly growing at an unusually rapid pace.

“Despite several surgeries and procedures, Zen’s condition worsened around Thanksgiving,” the respected television host stated. Knowing his time was running out with the most recent human being he has helped bring into this world, Cannon shed light on his last moments with his son before the passing. He publicly stated, “This weekend, I made a valid effort to spend the most quality time I could spend with Zen. Holding my son for the last time, it was a beautiful setting.” The 41-year-old entrepreneur has officially canceled previously made recording sessions along with taking a leave of absence from the hit television series America’s Got Talent, which has been successfully streaming on all cable services and boosting people’s careers since 2006.

Cannon took the time to open up about his current family situation on the most recent episode of his television show. “I did not know how I was going to handle today, but I just really wanted to grieve with my family. I prayed for the miracle of God’s strength, and that is why I am here with you guys today,” the San Diego native wholesomely proclaimed. Nick Cannon and Alyssa Scott have been reportedly seeing each other for over a year now as they begin to turn their attention towards each other in their time of need. No one deserves to have their child simply stripped away from the world as tumors often do to people, but with a resilient support team and the comfort of family and loved ones, hopefully, these two personalities can get past this tragic and uncontrollable event.
