Don Toliver Releases “Life of a Don” Project

Coming off his previously released album, “Heaven Or Hell,” Don Toliver is back with the drop of his most recent project “Life of a Don.” He previewed one song off the project, “Drugs N Hella Melodies (feat. Kali Uchis), which would take the world by storm and have his audience sitting in anticipation, just waiting for the artist to bless their ears with new music; Toliver later released the video for this specific song exclusively onto his Youtube channel. The Cactus Jack member officially dropped the album on Friday, October 8, 2021, accompanied by 16 full songs over the span of a soothing 51 minutes and 34 seconds.

This project contains a total of 5 featured verses, quite similar to his last which also withheld 5 features from individual highly respected artists. “Life of a Don” also includes features from multiple platinum-selling artists such as Baby Keem, HVN, SoFaygo, Kali Uchis, and of course Travis Scott. One of the most popular songs on the album that has quickly turned itself into a fan favorite is none other than “Flocky Flocky” (feat. Travis Scott). Not even a week after the initial release of the project, this song has already managed to propel itself to various streaming playlists such as Weekend Worthy on Apple Music and RapCaviar on Spotify. 

The Texas rapper announced the release of his new music through a post uploaded to his Instagram account that simply stated, “!!!LIFE OF A DON TONIGHT!!!,; the project is currently sitting in the No. 1 spot at the top of all Apple Music charts. His previous album, “Heaven or Hell,” sold approximately 44,000 units within just its first week, making it very interesting to notice how well his latest project will do with most feedback claiming that his album is “better than the last.” “Life of a Don” is now available to listen to on all streaming platforms so fans everywhere have the ability to give their own opinion on the two projects.
