Tory Lanez recently took part in an incident involving female rapper Megan Thee Stallion and shots that were allegedly fired at her from Tory himself. It is said that the rapper had Meg over his house along with Kylie Jenner who claims she does not know anything about the events that transpired. The exact story is fuzzy, but what we do know is that whatever took place led to Meg suffering from a gunshot wound to her foot. Ever since then, Meg’s fans have been flooding Tory’s social media with hate, anger, and what can only be assumed as serious threats.
On June 24, 2021, an average day for the Canadian rapper turned into what he believes was a targeted assault. Tory was simply enjoying his everyday Uber ride with his friend until out of the blue a car crashed directly into the front of his Uber. With no serious injuries reported from the driver or any of his passengers, judging by the pictures, everyone involved should be thankful that they made it out alive.
Due to all of the negative attention he has been receiving through social media, it is completely understandable why the rapper claims he is in deep thought about if this was a targeted attack towards him. Tory showed the world what happened to him through a video he posted on Twitter along with the captions, “Strange…It almost felt like someone knew to crash into us.” While having every right to be on edge about the situation, he is currently looking at an assault charge put against him on behalf of Megan Thee Stallion; he believes this played a huge role in the demise of his Uber driver’s vehicle.
To this day, Tory Lanez still denies having any part in the incident in which Meg received the bullet wound to her foot. The 28-year-old rapper does not have a set date for his trial yet while keeping his hopes high that the situation is not taken to that extent. Tory is still looking to see if this ‘accident’ was indeed an accident.
