NBA YoungBoy recently released his highly anticipated album, “Sincerely Kentrell >,” on September 28, 2021, which took the world by storm as fans everywhere have been waiting for a new project for almost two years. The solo album contains no features which make sense considering that the artist is known for his independence when it comes to music-making and business. However, many well-known producers showed out to play a key role in the final creation of this project being Louie Bandz, TayTayMadeIt, Dubba-Aa, Cheese, DMac, TnTXD, 17ondatrack, Its2Ezzy, Wassam Wop, and many more. The 23-track project is a mix of different vibes spread throughout an enjoyable 1 hour and 2 minutes.

As of October 5, 2021, “Sincerely Kentrell >” rightfully made its debut as the No. 1 album on the week’s Billboard 200 chart. This specific body of work officially solidifies YoungBoy, whose real name is Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, as the “first hip-hop artist with a No. 1 album in each of the past three years (2019, 2020, 2021)… The only other act with a No. 1 album in 2019 and 2021 is Taylor Swift,” according to a post uploaded to Billboard’s Twitter account. They go on to appreciate the 21-year-old rapper by stating that “this is his fourth career No. 1 project, after ‘Al YoungBoy 2’ (2019), ‘38 Baby 2’ (2020), and his former most recent ‘Top’ (2020).”

The future looks bright for the young entrepreneur as his album is reportedly said to be on a steady pace to sell approximately 155k units within the first week of its release. YoungBoy is currently coming off the release of his popular single “Territorial” which was released in late April of this year. All there is to do now is sit back, listen to some music, and watch as NBA YoungBoy slowly takes over the top spots on almost all streaming platforms.
