Balenciaga recently announced the drop of their brand new collaborative collection with Marvel that consisted of various essential fashion items. The highly popular fashion company chose to use Marvel’s own Hulk as their main theme for this specific project, in hopes that it will grab the attention of different groups of people that do not enjoy the original style the brand has made for itself. Balenciaga uses the same animated picture of the famous green avenger, wearing his trademark blue ripped jeans, on all of the different items from the collection while each one has its own individual uniqueness to it.
All of the clothing apparel in this drop was crafted and manufactured in Portugal while the rest of the accessories were assembled in Italy. The collection includes multiple T-shirts, hoodies, slip dresses, long-sleeves, bomber hoodies, a sling bag, crewneck sweaters, and even an XXL backpack. The entirety of the clothes fabric was made out of what is said to be “recycled nylon and vintage jersey material,” giving the collection an older more relaxed aesthetic to the brand itself. Items found inside the capsule are reportedly worth anywhere between $495 to $1,950 per individual piece; their business however offers different deals based on exactly what and how much you purchase.
Almost everything within this collection has been given the color black besides the T-shirts which can be bought in your choice of either black or white. Officially released to the public’s eye on August 4, 2021, there is no doubt in the air that we will most definitely have another Marvel collaboration with Balenciaga or another big-name fashion outlet. With this move, Balenciaga looks to finally expand and separate itself from being one of the biggest fashion corporations in the game to becoming the best there ever was.
