The Atlanta Hawks have already had their star player, Trae Young, out for Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals. The 22 year old sustained an apparent ankle injury after accidentally stepping on a referee’s foot which resulted in a bone bruise on his right ankle. With that being said there is no doubt that Atlanta is at a serious disadvantage going into Game 4, despite all the support from their home crowd in the State Farm Arena.

However, things might have finally evened up for the Hawks as Giannas Antetokounmpo suffered a hard fall directly on his left leg late in the third quarter. Unfortunately, the Milwaukee star was forced to limp off the court as he had to be helped back to the locker room by his brother and teammate, Thanasis Antetokounmpo. His injury report came back early in the fourth quarter as announcers claimed him to be out for the remainder of the game due to a hyperextension to his left knee. Sources have yet to publicly declare his stance for Game 5 in Milwaukee, but by the looks of it Giannas is going to need some time to recuperate.

The Milwaukee athlete was still able to put 14 points, 3 assists, and 8 rebounds on the board before tragically having to be examined by medical personnel. Throughout this whole 2021 NBA season the Greek Freak has been in competition with himself in order to seal his second NBA Most Valuable Player title. Even while coming short in the 2020 postseason and being eliminated by the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference semifinals, the 26 year old all-star has been using momentum from his MVP victory last year to guide his team all the way through the Conference Finals.
